Hello,

Welcome to Homebody Massage, a mobile massage practice devoted to deep relaxation, intuitive healing, and embodied awareness.

I’m Julie, a licensed massage therapist with over 12 years of experience. I bring the healing space to you—transforming your home, office, or sanctuary into a place of rest and renewal.

I graduated from The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in Austin, Texas, in 2013 and have since worked in a wide range of settings—from luxury spas and chiropractic clinics to prenatal centers, and even a few unconventional places (like helping dental patients relax through foot massage, or easing poker players mid-game).

Over the years, I’ve trained in Thai Massage, Ashiatsu, Zero Balancing, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal Massage. Yet my true focus is therapeutic massage and CranioSacral Therapy—sessions that follow the body’s own wisdom rather than forcing it. My approach is slow, intentional, and deeply attuned, allowing the body to reveal where healing is needed most.

In 2026, I’ll continue expanding my studies with Somatic Emotional Release in Sedona, Craniosacral dissection with a medical doctor in Baltimore, and Ecstatic Dance facilitation in Tomar, Portugal—each a path that deepens my understanding of how body, emotion, and spirit flow together.

Beyond the Healing Work

When I’m not offering sessions, I love traveling, learning Portuguese, studying cranial nerves and somatic anatomy, freediving, ecstatic dancing, backpacking, writing, and watching classic 80’s movies with my husband.

You’ll also often find me walking my sweet Pitbull–Australian Cattle Dog mix, Stella, who reminds me daily to pause, breathe, and enjoy the simple rhythms of life.

Travel has always been a big part of my journey, and I’ve been building a travel blog that shares stories from my past and current adventures. Though it’s on pause while I focus on writing a book, travel continues to inspire my work—reminding me that healing, like travel, is a journey of returning home to ourselves. If you’re interested in reading some of my stories, you can check out Travel with Zuki.

With love & gratitude,

Julie
